1. Tioga County Fair Talent Contest is open to all ages. Those under 18 must have WRITTEN consent from parent.

2. It is required that all Talent Show entrants be residents of Tioga County.

3. A maximum of 8 individuals are eligible to perform in each act unless an exception is given. 

4. Basic sound equipment will be available for performers, this includes 2 microphones on stands and 2 speakers. Any additional technical needs are the talents responsibility. However, no special lighting or special effects (such as smoke machines, special scenery, etc.) may be used.

5. If your act requires recorded accompanying music, the music must be provided to Jess Sandstrom AT LEAST 1 DAY prior to the Talent Contest. Any CD’s must be labeled with your name and song name.

   1. All vocal acts requiring music, MUST provide their own Karaoke Version. Vocal Tracks will not be permitted.

6. Each act is limited to 5 minutes of actual performance time. 

7. All performances should be in good taste and be family and fair appropriate. Acts containing music, lyrics, gestures, costumes, or material that the judges consider to be rude, or offensive may have points deducted or be disqualified.

8. In all cases, the decisions of the judges are final and will not be open to discussion.

9. Entrants need to be at the Tioga County Fair by 5:45 the evening of the Talent Show, Wednesday, August 12, 2026

10. Everyone must return a completed and signed Talent Contest Registration Form. If you do not receive any correspondence verifying receipt of your registration form by August 10, 2026, you must contact Jess Sandstrom at jessilynn7@gmail.com to verify your entry.

11. Prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st - $500
2nd - $300
3rd - $200
